Yep. Anyways, today I'll be talking about a new drama I watched. :D Within 2 days only! Because I skipped through the redundant parts of the episodes and watched the EPIC moments in the drama. The intro above was to make this post sound grand FYI.
So I came across this drama through a manga I randomly found on mangafox. I was lazy to read the manga (Parfait Tic!) since I prefer colours over words and started with the drama first. Guess the drama! I don't think anybody will guess it correctly so I'll just tell you the name. Love Buffet,愛似百匯! Surprized? Because it's a taiwanese drama! Most of the time I only watch english dramas and Korean/Taiwanese dramas on television - I am too lazy to search it myself. But I rarely watch dramas online, with an exception of Glee~ ^^
I am going to write this post in english when I am supposedly to do so in Chinese since it's a Taiwanese drama.Yeah... I am SLOW at writing chinese using Macbook. It was much easier using my old laptop =.= cuz they had this cute picture when I typed plus jap emoticons plus it was smarter at knowing what I wanted to write.
The story is about: ( just took it from dramawiki)
Xiao Feng (小风) [chinese name reminds me of Kaede in mirmo! Yesshhh, I watched the chinese version which I find has more feel to it] is a lively girl, who loves to work with kids, she also is starting her first year of college. When the arrival Yi Cheng (一诚) and Da Ye (大业), her new neighbors; who also attend the same college that she does. she has to figure out a way that she can survive at school, knowing the two hottest, richest guys are sharing a house with her. Yi Cheng is a quiet, handsome guy, who can't get over his past romance, Da Ye on the other hand, who is cute, charming and very sweet, doesn't know the meaning of love, he is quite a playboy. But when Xiao Feng falls in love with Da Ye, He can only say he doesn't know what a real relationship is. Heart Broken, she finds herself being comforted by his cousin Yi Cheng, falling for him now, she is once again broken hearted, and crawls back to Da Ye. Will Xiao Feng find the perfect guy, will she be able to survive the pressures at school, and home? Find Out On Love Buffet!* Okayss... putting the chinese names so that it has more feel to it too. Because I watched the original, chinese version with no english subtitles so it feels kind of weird to see it in English.
*The girl is kind of a 花痴, I think so it's kind of =.= when she's madly clinging onto love. 花痴 means anthomaniac apparently in many dictionaries, but it's not what 花痴 means! More of a type of infatuation in terms of romance, I would say. Yeah, I know quite a few 花痴 people....
Yeah. So in summary, a COMPLICATED love triangle. I like the drama because the main characters study social work in university! :) So it's pretty sweet! Wiki said it was sociology, but it's social work when you see the drama. (which is why you can't trust wiki at times)... The drama is also quite FUNNY! :DD Yeah, yeah, the romance between the main characters is pretty sweet too! Especially with 一诚! Like got a lot of sweet moments with them together~ Sometimes which I think is more of fuuny & bleh... LOL. ^-^ Guess you can see who I'm rooting for eh?
Oh yeah... but the most funny part has got to be 宜静, who is this super paranoid girl who thinks too much about things.... OMG, I was laughing like crazy when she kept speaking out what is in her mind! E.g.
Boy: "maybe you are more beautiful than you think."
宜静: " Why must you tell lies"
Boy: * 0.0 look on his face. * thinks to himself, this girl no cure already...
& one of the best parts: 我说你可以先走没有关系。 我这个长像半夜也不会有人非礼我的。
LOLOLOLOL!
The ending is pretty unexpected!!!
*SPOILER* Don't say I didn't warn you! I also read the ending first. LOLS. So you don't get a heart attack or feel like you have depression when the ending goes wrong or not the way you thought it would be.
Ending was pretty disappointing, since 一诚 didn't go with 小风... T^T Most of the fangirls support them too, so some are discussing the issue heatedly. It is assumed that 小风 was with 大业 although the ending is not so obvious.
